A little weird. A lot to guess.
Oddly has two free games in your web browser. Estimate asks for a surprising number. This or That asks you to pick the right one of two options. A new round of each arrives every day. Play your first round of each game free, no account needed. A free account unlocks every round.
Who it is for
Oddly is for anyone who enjoys a puzzle, a surprising fact or a friendly argument about numbers. You don’t need to be good at maths. A sensible guess and the built-in calculator are enough. If you like a daily game, each game gives everyone the same five questions each day.
How questions are made
- One scene, one number. You should know what you are estimating after one read. The surprise belongs in the answer, not in hidden rules.
- Assumptions first. Sizes, times and conditions that change the answer are stated before you guess.
- Sources after. Every reveal explains the idea behind the answer and links to the sources and calculation used.
- Honest about uncertainty. When a quantity varies naturally, Oddly says so before you guess and accepts a documented range.
- Reviewed before release. Each question is checked for clear wording, a sound calculation and reliable sources before it joins the game.
- Fair over time. If a question’s meaning, answer or scoring ever changes, it becomes a new version, so earlier scores stay comparable.
What Oddly is not
Oddly is not an IQ test. Scores, levels and ratings describe how you play this game. They do not measure intelligence. Oddly does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Read what Oddly saves.
